1. What is SeatLock?

SeatLock is an early access platform that helps fans secure their spot for event presales. SeatLock never sells tickets. We facilitate a deposit system that grants you early access to purchase tickets directly from venues or authorized ticket sellers.

2. How Deposits Work

  • Deposit Purpose: Your deposit is a temporary hold that reserves your spot for early access to ticket sales. It is NOT a ticket purchase and does NOT guarantee ticket availability.
  • Deposit Amount: The deposit amount is set by the venue and is separate from the ticket price.
  • Refund Policy: Your deposit is fully refundable under all circumstances — whether you purchase a ticket, choose not to, or the event is cancelled.

3. Deposit Refunds

Your deposit will be refunded in the following cases:

  • You purchase a ticket: After confirming your purchase, your deposit is automatically refunded.
  • Sale window expires: If you don't purchase within the sale window, your deposit is automatically released.
  • Event is cancelled or postponed: Your deposit is automatically refunded in full.

Refunds are processed through your original payment method and typically take 5-7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

4. Sale Windows

Each event has a defined sale window during which you can use your early access to purchase tickets. Key points:

  • Sale windows have specific start and end times, displayed in your local timezone on the event page.
  • You will receive an email with your early access link when the sale window opens.
  • If you do not purchase before the window closes, your deposit is automatically released — no action required from you.

5. Account and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use SeatLock.
  • Each deposit is limited to one per person per event, unless otherwise specified by the venue.
  • Deposits are non-transferable.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to users who attempt to abuse the system (e.g., creating multiple accounts, using bots).

6. Ticket Purchases

SeatLock does not handle ticket sales. When you use your early access link:

  • You will be redirected to the venue's or authorized seller's ticket platform.
  • Ticket availability, pricing, and terms are controlled by the venue or ticket seller.
  • SeatLock does not guarantee ticket availability or specific seat assignments.

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. SeatLock does not store your credit card information. By making a deposit, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

8. Limitation of Liability

SeatLock provides early access to ticket sales but does not control ticket inventory, pricing, or the conduct of events. We are not liable for:

  • Ticket unavailability despite having a deposit
  • Event changes, postponements, or cancellations by the venue
  • Issues with the venue's ticketing platform
